Casing Gun/Hollow Steel Carrier Gun

7Hollow Steel Carrier Guns has the charges contained inside a carrier and are hence not exposed to the wellbore fluids. Installation of perforating charges and detonating cord is fast and simple. Reliability is very high due to rugged and robust hardware in conjunction with minimal sealing elements. A variety of gun systems are available including high pressure and high temperature systems.

These systems feature a Spot-face or “Scallop” on the carrier at the charge location to minimize burrs and optimize charge performance. The perforating charges are retained, within a charge tube located inside the gun carrier and aligns the charges to the scallop. The scalloped carrier is expendable it is retrieved from the well and is discarded after use.

Gun connections (gun subs) are used to connect several gun lengths together and also provide a means of attaching the gun system to wireline tools such as a collar locator. Gun subs may be used multiple times and are available for a wide variety of wireline and tubing conveyed applications.

Casing Gun/Reactive Perforating Charges

Reactive perforating shaped charges deliver clean, open tunnels independent of rock type. Every tunnel receives its own cleaning action, independent of other perforations, resulting in a much greater percentage of clean tunnels and an ideal flow path between undamaged reservoir and the wellbore. CONNEX charges reduce breakdown and treating pressures, improve treating rates, eliminate tortuosity, and minimize the risk of screen-out.

Fill/Flow Sub Ported DW 2 3/8" EUE Thread   Ported version allows the tubing string to automatically fill up with well fluids and creates a debris barrier through a installed glass disc for mechanically initiated firing heads.. The released drop bar to initiate the mechanical firing head shatters the glass disc.. After initiation the Fill/flow sub allows hydrocarbons to be produced from the well.
