Who we are

Eastern United Petroleum Services (EUPS) was established in 2004 to provide state-of-the art technologies required to support the upstream Oil and Gas sector in its vast potentials in the extraction of hydrocarbons by national and regional NOCs and IOCs. Eastern United’s strength lies in providing the latest industry leading Technologies and superior quality Oilfield Services such as Wireline Logging, Well Testing and Data & Consulting Services (in addition to Slickline Services, Well Head Maintenance and other Services through current EUPS affiliates) covering all operational phases including Exploration, Development, Production and Workover. Eastern United is operating regionally at present with the main Headquarters located in Kuwait and utilizing an international staff of top qualified and highly diverse personnel that combine local knowledge, regional experience and worldwide exposure.

EXECUTIVE TEAM

		Hussam Ali Marafie Chief Executive OfficerHussam Marafie is Chief Executive Officer of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a company that he has established in 2004 as the first Kuwaiti National Wireline Logging Services company.He took responsibilities in various senior global roles in management and engineering internationally for the last 18 years including his seven years’ experience in Schlumberger oil field services before establishing EUPS.Hussam holds a Bachelor degree of Science with Honors in Mechanical Engineering in University of Newcastle Upon Tyne – England. In addition, he had various leadership development and training in Stanford University School of Business, California and Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. Hussam is an active member of International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and a Harvard Business Alumni.
		Khaled Al-Saati Chief Operating OfficerKhaled Al-Saati is Chief Operating Officer of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a position assumed since June 2016 with more than 30 years’ experience with wide range of Oil & Gas operations.  Prior to joining EUPS, Khaled held various Management positions including, Director Geoscientists & Sales at Baker Hughes in Kuwait, GCC GM with SAPESCO based in Saudi, Drilling Engineering in Charge with client KJO, spend over 22 years with Schlumbeger overseas & again being client with BAPCO as Production Engineer.Khaled holds a Bachelor Degree of Science with honors in Petroleum Engineering from University of King Fahad Petroleum and Minerals in 1985. Khaled is an active member of International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 1994.
		Khaled Boraei VP, Business Development, Merges & AcquisitionsKhaled Boraei is acting Chief Operating Officer of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a position assumed since April 2015. Prior to joining EUPS, Khaled held various Management positions including Vice Chairman & CEO at an independent oilfield services provider in the Middle East, and previously as Vice President & Managing Director at Schlumberger where he spent 24 years of his career.During his earlier career in Schlumberger, Khaled was Sales & Marketing Director, Regional Contracts Director, in addition to holding various positions in Business Development, Engineering, and Operations Management; in Egypt, Oman, Iran, UAE, United Sates and United Kingdom. He began his career with Schlumberger in 1989 as Field Engineer in Well Services at the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Prior to joining Schlumberger Khaled worked in the construction industry for one year.Khaled holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. He is an active member of the international Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 1997.
		Amro Bibi VP – Marketing, Business Development & New TechnologiesAmro Bibi is the Vice President – Marketing, Business Development & New Technologies of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a position assumed since February 2016. Prior to that, Amro held various Management and Business Development positions including Assistant General Manager at Eastern United for the past 10 years, and previously as Technical Sales Engineer at Schlumberger where he spent 6 years of his career.During his earlier career in Schlumberger, Amro was the Engineer In Charge – Production Services in Kuwait. He began his career with Schlumberger in 2001 as Field Engineer in the Wireline segment in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.Amro holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University in Al-Khaldiyah, Kuwait. In addition, he had various leadership development and training at Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He is an active member of the international Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 2007.
		Domingo De Florio VP – OperationsDomingo De Florio is the Vice President – Operations of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a position assumed since March 2016. Prior to that, Domingo held the position of Operations Manager at Eastern United since 2014.His earlier career started in West Venezuela as Jr Field Engineer in 1999 then progressing all the way to General Field Engineer, Field Operation Manager and Operational Excellence Manager. He held management positions across countries as Venezuela (1999-2010). Argentina, Bolivia & Chile (2011-2013). Romania, Bulgaria & Ukraine (2013).Domingo holds a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Santiago Marino University in Venezuela.
		Kiki Calkiadaki HR ManagerKiki Chalkiadaki is the Human Resources Manager of Eastern United Petroleum Services _EUPS, a position assumed since September 2015. Kiki’s experience comes from different fields such as: Pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas, IT Services, Gold Mining as well as NGO’s. During her 20 years’ experience in HR Management, Kiki held different positions and has experience in developing and implementing global HR systems and procedures.Kiki holds a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources from ALBA (AACSB accredited graduate school) and has two bachelor degrees, one in Business Administration from Deree, American College of Greece and one in Economics, University of Athens, Greece.
		Mohamed Zied Cherif Finance ManagerMohamed Zied Cherif is the Finance Manager of Eastern United Petroleum Services – EUPS, a position assumed since October 2015. Prior joining EUPS Mohamed Zied held various senior finance position as Reporting & Consolidation manager and Finance Controller in SCHLUMBERGER where he spent the last 10 years of his career.His earlier career started in Tunisia as AP and AR Accountant (2005-2008) then moved to UAE as Fiscal and Management Accountant (2008-2010), then moved to Malaysia as Reporting and Consolidation Manager for MEA (2010-2012), then held the position of Regional Financial Controller for different business lines in East, West and Central Africa (2012-2015).Mohamed Zied holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Southern University in Tunisia.
